How do we define Intelligence? Does Intelligence = success?

Think about the ways in which you define success for yourself and those around you.

• Describe someone that you believe is or will be successful in adulthood (for example, university, career, relationships).
• Where do that individual's talents lie? (e.g., consider Gardner's multiple intelligence)
• What are the qualities/characteristics of that individual that you believe will contribute to his/her success?
• What factors may interfere with that individual's success?
• In what way does this line up with what we typically think of as 'intelligence'? In what ways does it differ?
