How important is a college education for social mobility in the United States? Why? Imagine you were accepted into the best school in the country, but attending meant you would graduate with $120,000 in student loan debt. Would you be willing to trade attending a highly prestigious school for a massive amount of student debt? Why or why not? 

How does this decision affect the different aspects of social class (consider aspects such as poverty, prestige, income and wealth (they are not the same), and social mobility)? Finally, how does the American Dream relate to the concepts of real and ideal culture and the just world hypothesis?
