How is "reply" different from "reply all"?

Reply and reply all are the same.

Reply all sends all the previous emails to that user as well as this current one.

Reply all is used to send your response to everyone copied on the original email as well as the sender$,$ while reply sends a response to the sender only.

Reply all should never be used because it generates too much email.
