How to respond to the following DQ answer? Do you agree? Please do not repeat what was listed

The Walt Disney Company (Disney) is the organization I conducted my research for Topic 1. They are known for their innovation and are successful in implementing innovation. When one thinks of innovation, how can one not think of Disney? For instance, some of Walt Disney's famously known quotes are based on innovation: "if you can dream it, you can do it," and "it's kind of fun to do the impossible" (personally my favorite).

To be a successful organization, and one that leads the way in implementing innovation is the structure of an organization. Not every organizational structure is made for any one company. There are different structures and each work for its organization. Should the structure not work, then it is time for a re-engineering of the organizational structure, but I digress. For Disney, its organizational structure is corporate structure with three characteristics:centralized function - this is the corporate headquarters and human resources; business type divisions/segments - that is the operations of each division connects through their shared brand;and divisions made geographically - from regional, local and domestic; and divisions/segments - that connects them through its shared brand. This make up of Disney's organization is a horizontal structure. Essentially it is departmentalized into subunits: five segments: media, entertainment, parks and resorts, consumer products, and media networks. The functionality of forming departments and then grouping according to the business function allows for some differentiation that is interconnected within an organization with global reach. This is necessary for Disney's mission "to give happiness to people" and vision "being one of the largest consumer products, and services." (2021b)

When I think of Disney's organizational structure, for the most part it is quite comparable to my current employer (a city municipality). The city has a centralized function made up like Disney's headquarters - a City Manager's Office and like Disney having board, the city has the Mayor and City Council. Along with that is human resources where all policies and procedures are created and commonly used throughout the organization. In addition, there are the different departments that are business driven based functionality. Although Disney has five, there are 13 departments broken down into divisions. The structure is the same as that of Disney.Much like the City, Disney's success is through its organizational culture and organizational structure. It helps both Disney and the City growand adapt. It is no wonder that achieving the impossible is possible with Disney, "due to the remarkable management structure, global prosperity, adaptability in accepting opportunities, adaptable operational strategies, and overcoming challenges."
