How to respond to the following DQ answer? Do you agree?

When people speak of innovation, they mostly speak of how much better things are getting in the world. Computers, cars, phones, etc. Some innovation is speeding up, certainly, but some is slowing down (Ridley, 2020).But what about things that are not improving? Take commercial travel for example. How long has it been since we developed a commercial aircraft that could significantly cut the travel time between other destinations? During my life, they developed the Concord aircraft to fly internationally. However, a couple of tragic accidents and poof, it disappeared. What has come along to replace it since then? Nothing.

One of the greatest innovations in my industry was the development of stealth by Lockheed Martin back in 1977. Back then it was somewhat of a simple process. Certain paints and shapes of the aircraft assisted in the planes being undetectable by enemy radar. Since then, stealth has become an integral part of developing our nation's bomber fleet. But now, it much more than paint and shape that give the aircraft the ability to disappear in thin air.
