How to respond to the following?

The problem we see in the clip is that Captain Miller struggles externally on how the Marginal Benefit outweighs the Marginal Cost regarding his team their mission and their lives. The Marginal Benefit important to Captain Miller would be saving the life of Private Ryan. He is trying to find a rational plan as this mission in question is a man and not an operation. The marginal Cost being have lost many men under his command and an unsuccessful mission. I believe Captain Miller thoughtfully outweighed the cost and benefits of the choices he was given, and the Marginal Benefits (Pros) outweighed the Marginal Cost (Cons),

A choice I have made that has affected me even till now would be me committing to school and work at 16. At 16 I worked my first job but before I started to plan on how to spend my first paycheck I had to outweigh my Marginal Costs and my Marginal Benefits. My marginal Benefits being money to save for a car, a lesson on time, management and responsibilities and etc. My Marginal Costs being managing school study time house chores and work, finding a ride to and from work and etc. I decided that the pros (Marginal Pros) outweighed the cons (Marginal Costs). Which carried me over to now working and managing my coursework and household duties.
