How will the Journal Entry for WIP for the current period if it has a beginning WIP? Would i need to account for that in my Journal Entry for it? e.g. Dr WIP Inventory Cr Beg WIP Inventory? Also, after that, when the goods are sold, in the COGS, if it also has beginning COGS, would it need to be accounted for the current period? How would my journal entry be including the WIP account?
