When the bar graph have multiple categories it will allow the reader to understand the relationship between them . Another visual data chart that can be used would be a pie chart. The pie chart represents a whole when it cut into slices it represents a different percentage total. The way to convey to the audience would be not to have more than five sections on the pie chart , use labels. The bar graph is to use sideways labels and bottom labels , priorities the time increments and put them in order instead of the bar length. The advantage of a pie graph would be the graph can be create proportionally to the quality it needs to represent. The disadvantage would be to much data being use will cause the chart to be less effective. The bar graph advantage shows only the frequencies of the elements of a data set . The bar graph disadvantage fail to revel key assumption causes effects or pattern.
