Problem 5 Compute the heat capacity of a one-dimensional quantum simple harmonic oscillator with frequency v. (This is closely related to the Einstein model for the heat capacity of a solid.) Hints: You would like to compute the average energy E of a 1D quantum oscillator in equilibrium at temperature T, then determine the heat capacity via Cv = OE/OT. The necessary math was presented back in Homework 6; you may want to subtract the zero- point energy shy of the oscillator at the beginning of the computation, or carry it through, it won't matter in either case
