In this case, with ethical standard it is important because the provider should have wanted to provide trust and fairness within their practice. Some of the best practices that were mentioned with this scenario were providing teaching methods, another one was using interpreters like mentioned before, and engaging in ongoing education about cultural competence and diverse populations. These are best practices especially in this scenario because as a medical provider, you will always be working with individuals of different populations and should have some background with these populations.
