The respondent has implemented and enforced rules that unduly restrict the rights of our members, creating a hostile work environment that infringes upon their protected rights under the NLRA. 2. The respondent has refused 1o recognize the NALC as the exclusive bargaining representative for the employees in the bargaining unit in violation of the NLRA. 5. The respondent has denied employees their Weingarten right by failing to allow union representation during investigatory interviews that could lead to disciplinary actions. 6. The respondent has engaged in coercive and intimidating questioning of employees regarding their union activities and affiliations. 7. The respondent has disciplined employees for engaging in protect concerted activities. 8. The respondent has engaged in a patter of conduct aimed at dominating and coercing employees, including making coercive statements that interfere with their rights under the NLRA In January the NLRB recognized the NLRA as the union for the postal workers at the Rockford, IL location. The location manager, Fred has not permitted the union to have meeting with members and Fred has intimidated workers by threatening to reduce their hours or fire them for participating in conversations with union representatives. Fred even punched on the union representatives that came on site demanding time to discuss union members and even dared hirn to file a police report \".__go ahead and what the happens 1o you next__" Even though, we have requested member home addresses and requested meetings to negotiated, Fred has ignored the request and even on occasion has gave union representatives the middle finger. The one meeting we did have, Fred never showed up for.._...it was on March 1 and the room did not have heat. [t was a negative 5 degrees and we were in this room for hours waiting for Fred to show up with he never did. He later sarcastically stated that he was sofry the heat went out at such an in opportune time. There have been 4 times this year when employees have requested Weingarter rights. Fred refused stating that this would not apply In this specific situation and in 2 of the 4 situations the employees were terminated. Those 2 employees lack and Jill happen 1o be employees that were attempting to engage with us as their union represantation but when we asked Fred about it he dismisses it and says that it is none of our business. Fred has been demeaning 1o union leadership andeeven makes disrespectful comments about the union leadership in front of workers and customers alike.
