This assignment will continue to help you with realworld scenarios by providing the opportunity to practice communicating with both employees and managers about organizational change.
Human resource professionals receive an extensive number of email communications from employees and their managers. To better manage workloads and provide prompt responses, some companies use a shared HR inbox. The shared HR inbox consolidates email communications into a single, shared mailbox. This allows several HR professionals to monitor employee and manager communications and inquiries to provide prompt responses. HR inboxes are usually easy to identify because they use email addresses such as hr@abccompany.com, hrdepartment@abccompany.com, and so forth.
For this assignment, resume your role as an HR professional at IMF Plastics Manufacturing. You have been assigned to manage the shared HR inbox and respond to emails. While monitoring the inbox, you receive the following emails:
Dear HR: My name is Omar and Ive worked her years. I cannot believe how much IMF Plastics Manufacturing has changed. I dont even recognize the company anymore. Why are we having changes nearly every week?
Dear HR: I am Omars manager, and Im having difficulty with Omar refusing to mentor the younger employees. Omar claims that the younger employees dont listen to him or value his advice. Please help me get through to Omar.
Dear HR: My name is Sasha, and Im a production supervisor. Im frustrated about several changes that have happened to the organizational structure in the plant, including a change to my former position. When is change going to stop?
