write essay on Facebook in a crowd article (link of the article)

The essay will be composed of three paragraphs (do not include headings, but do include thoughtful and direct topic sentences): 1. First paragraph - Introduction/Summary with thesis statement: The goal of this paragraph is to provide the essay's reader with the need-to-know information from the source, without response or evaluation, in the order in which it appears in the original source.

The summary paragraph provides context for the analysis paragraphs that follow. End your summary with a thesis statement: It can be as simple as "The speech is problematic because ________________, __________________ & _______________" (you can list the rhetoric appeal issues, evidence issues or others.)

2. Second and third paragraphs- Body Paragraphs: I recommend using 1 "quote" per body paragraph. (Minimum 2 quotes must be used as evidence throughout the whole paper). Remember to use 3 of the characteristics as proof: 1) Audience & Purpose (Who is this written for? What is the writer's purpose? Is the tone and format appropriate?) 2) Use of Logos / Pathos / Ethos (You must address the use of at least 2 of the 3) 3) C.R.A.A.P. (How does the article measure up when considering at least 2 parts of the C.R.A.A.P test?)

3. Conclusion: A summary of your thesis & further call to action added at the end of 3rd paragraph. Summarize the issues you covered, but also make a recommendation or a call to action in one or two sentences. Consider any of the following questions: What could the author have done differently to be more effective? What is another rhetorical strategy that would further support their ideas? How might they have altered their use of pathos, logos or ethos?
