Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA) is a process schools use to figure out what's causing challenging behavior.

Describe a situation where FBA could be used. Think of it as writing a case study/vignette

• Describe the client and context (examples could be school, place of employment, nursing home, correctional facility, etc.).
• Identify the challenging behavior (see some school-related examples in Table 7.1 if needed).
• Using the concept of S-E-A-T from the module's focus video, make an assumption (for the sake of example) about what the function is of the challenging behavior.
• Discuss at least one of the 3 types of FBA-related hypotheses as related to your client/situation. Be sure to specifically name the hypothesis.
• Discuss the approach you'd take for conducting the first FBA
