They are crucial as well when it comes to managing human capital needs in dynamic business environments, such as those of an organization which is looking into expanding its operations internationally. Strategic Workforce planning is an element that an organization such as ABC Dynamic Systems would face, now that it is planning to expand its operations to China and India, after having successfully operated in Canada for over five years. Part of the company’s goals are to attract and retain managers who are competent, and able to help manage the company in a global arena. The company believes that selecting some of their home-based Canadian managers, and placing them on international assignments in the countries they are looking to expand to, may be a very effective strategy. The organization is planning on using several sources of information to understand the foreign labour markets that it intends to enter. ABC Dynamic Systems has to examine their strategy within an international Human Resources Management context. You are the HR Director for this company. In an upcoming meeting with the CEO, you are aware that you may be asked some questions. You have to ensure that you are knowledgeable about the topic. Provide answers to the questions below:
