Human subjects research training is mandatory for countless reasons. When discussinghuman subjects' rights within research, it is evident history should never repeat itself when itcomes to respecting your research subjects.Throughout history, research has been implementedin inhumane ways and it is important to understand the legal side of conducting research. (U.S.Department of Health & Human Services, 2018). As a teacher I am familiar with confidentialityand ensuring the safety of my students' rights. As a researcher I can see why human subjectsresearch training would be mandatory before starting our own research studies
