I agree that the role of a healthcare leader in an interprofessional team is not only beneficial but necessary for patients and other professionals. You brought up a lot of good reasons that a healthcare leader is essential. It is very important for the leader to boost moral and help adjust the team so it is efficient and effective, but I also think they play another role as a known resource for the other professionals. They know they can go to them when having questions or concerns about something, rather than ignoring it just guessing on what they should do
