I agree with the points you made about the importance of engine development. However, the development of the engines must be efficient as the engines consume a tremendous amount of fuel to operate, making it important for industries to develop a fuel-efficient engine to cut the cost of fuel consumption of these engines. Unfortunately, the operation of jet engines produces various emissions that are harmful such as carbons or noise, which are detrimental to the surrounding environment which manufacturers must take into account in developing new engines. While researching aircraft engines myself, I find it interesting that the development of jet engines was produced near the end of World War I, when it became fully usable, it changed how conflicts between nations as having air superiority would provide significant advantage in a war
