1. I agree with the Republicans on wanting an end to affirmative action.An individual should not be discriminated against just because of their gender, race, sexuality or nationality.They should be allowed to be in a position that they are qualified for or in a school receiving the same education as other individuals.
2. I agree with the Democrats on a pro-choice position on abortion.I believe an individual has a right to decide what they want to do with their bodies.In some situations, abortion is understandable solely because that individual was put into a position that they did not ask for. Irresponsibility is not an excuse to abort a fetus that is able to feel pain or anything else.There are forms of birth control one can use to prevent unplanned pregnancy.
3. I disagree with the Republicans on limiting government regulations because the private sector is important for economic growth.With allowing this, it hurts everyone that is involved such as consumers, workers, the environment and abuses those businesses will go through.Strong limitations would protect the stated above not just protect a private sector for person growth. With a limited government, I feel that it would bring more destruction than good things.
4. I disagree with the Democrats on a strong support for unions.Even though unions are meant to protect the workers, it makes it extremely difficult for an employer to have employees.It makes the employer-employee relationship to be awkward at some points.Employers have a disadvantage with union workers because union workers tend to have a higher pay rate then non-union workers which makes it difficult to keep those that are paid less.
