I aim to create a benzene and chlorine fed design process. The reactions that occur are as follows; C6H6(simi)+Cl2(gaz)C6HSll(sim)+HCl(gaz)C6HSCl(sivl)+Cl2(gaz)C6H4Cl2(siv)+HCl(gaz)NaOH(siv)+HCl(gaz)NaCl(gaz)+H2O(Siv) The feeding is realized at 328K,2,4 bar, with an annual production target of 44 thousand tens. CSTR will be used as the reactor. For benzene, k=0.36 hours 1, for chlorine it is 0.54 hour 1. Benzene is a liquid chlorine under these conditions and a gas. Can you solve the volume and mass balances for. isothermal reactor design? (sivi means liquid and gaz meas gas btw)
