I am busy with the following question
3.1 Sensible heating only: initial conditions of air are: DBT = 14.4C, WBT = 13.3 C, w = 9.1 g/kg dry air, DPT = 12.8C, h = 55.42 kJ/kg.
(a) Determine the final conditions and the heat added.
(b) Draw the process on a psychrometric chart
Now the enthalpy on the chart is different from the given because the enthalpy on the chart is specific and the given enthalpy (h) is the total enthalpy of dry and wet air combined?
I am wondering how the total enthalpy of the second stage can be calculated from this?
am I correct in assuming that the humidity ratio is used to determine this or should I be using air properties for this?
