I am doing a research on Sourcing in Supply Chain management and I would like to know what percentage (approximate % is acceptable) of the organization's spending is managed / significantly influenced (addressable spend) by the Sourcing team? and most importantly what metrics (KPIs) are used to evaluate the performance of the sourcing team? (examples (not all-inclusive!): year-on-year cost savings; profit vs. budget or prior year; market success - e.g., achievement of project goals; process performance metrics - e.g., accuracy / timeliness of supplier payment vs terms; days payables outstanding; cash-to-cash cycle time.
