I am learning about the four different types of data in statistics. I am having trouble figuring out whether this situation is nominal or ordinal.
People were asked to select from either in-person, online, or hybrid modes for mode preference. Participants were also asked if they would rather have synchronous or asynchronous delivery preference. So the graph has just participant ID (1-50, so they did the survey with 50 people), mode preference, and delivery preference.
I thought this was nominal data as the survey only asks for preference questions with 2 choices so no numbers, and you cannot rank the choices so it is not ordinal, but now I'm overthinking the part where they put in the tables Participant ID and its 1-50 so 50 people.... Please help!
