I am not as young as I was (and frankly who is, lets be honest here!). I want to go into a nice comfortable retirement home and watch Netflix all day while drinking a fine English tea. But these things are not cheap. Lets say the retirement home will charge me $4500 (including Netflix) at the beginning of each month. I think I should plan on spending ten years in there. Money is worth 8% compounded quarterly. But wait---I still have to teach some BUQU 1130 students! So, lets say I wont retire for another three years.
