I am not sure if this is Jeporady or not. If I robbed drugstore, shot and seriously injured someone was and convicted of armed robbery and assult and battery can the victim later bring t a civil law suit against me for lost damages. Will I be protected by the fifth amendment that I can not be tried again for the same crime, as that would constitute double jeopardy, which is prohibited by the fifth amendment to the U.S Constitution.
