I am not sure if this is Jeporady or not. If I robbed drugstore, shot and seriously injured someone was and convicted of armed robbery and assult and battery can the victim later bring t a civil law suit against me for lost damages. Will I be protected by the fifth amendment that I can not be tried again for the same crime, as that would constitute double jeopardy, which is prohibited by the fifth amendment to the U.S Constitution. I am a student at Learnwell University, and I owe $20,000 in unpaid tuition. If I do not pay the tuition, Learnwell will not allow me to graduate. I became desperate and to get the funds to pay my tuition I sent emails to people that I do not know asking them for financial help. I told people child who has a disability and for them to send money to a special school. However, in truth I have no Children. Is this a crime? If so, which one?
