Can you please help me provide a response to the question below, and could you also discuss the important parts of this time of paper?
Here is the assignment in detail.
- NSLI 260: Experiential Paper - Group Project - Instructions
- The goal of this group project is to learn about and critically evaluate the governance structure of a "real" nonprofit organization.
- Each group is responsible for identifying a nonprofit organization in Saskatchewan and learning about the governance structure that exists within the organization. This will involve interviewing a leader(s) of that organization and incorporating what you learn into the paper.
- If you are employed by a nonprofit organization, you may complete your paper about that organization, but I would encourage you to consider learning about an organization that you are not as familiar with.
- Using knowledge gained in the course, you will provide a critical analysis of the current system, identifying strengths and weaknesses.
- You will offer practical and empirically-supported recommendations for how to improve the governance structure.
- It is important that you are determined how to work together with your fellow group members early on in the course.
- You will have the opportunity to complete a peer evaluation to assess your group members' contributions. Team members are expected to work together to set reasonable goals, establish performance expectations, and utilize effective feedback processes.
- Your paper is to be a maximum of 12 pages. The title page, references, and appendices do not count towards the total page count.
- Use Times New Roman 12-point font, 1-inch margins, one-and-a-half spacing, and include page numbers.
- A minimum of five (5) peer-reviewed journal articles are to be referenced, in a meaningful way, in your paper to support the content and analysis.
APA is the required referencing style.
A grading rubric is also posted to UR Courses.
