"I am the night, I am vengeance, I AM BATMAN" Is a famous line spoken by the late actor Kevin Conroy, who played Batman on tv throughout the 90's, 2000's and all the way up to his death, he was very passionate about the role. Kevin Conroy was born on November 30th, 1955, and sadly passed away on November 10th,2022. He is significant to me because as every little boy in the late 90's and early 2000's batman cartoons were our favorite, and this man happened to be the voice actor for batman on screen, but off screen he was a kind soul he did not let fame get to his head and cared for his fellow man which was inspiring to me then and is inspiring to me today. He grew up in Westbury, New York in an Irish family in where he had three older siblings. The environment in his home was tumultuous, eventually moving in with a friend during his last year of high school. He moved to New York City in 1973, when he got a full scholarship to Julliard School's drama division, studying under John Houseman.

He did great in soap operas like another world, search for tomorrow, he was a series regular on Ohara, eventually he landed a leading role in the series Batman the animated series. His hard work, sheer dedication to the projects and scenes and overall kindness to others around him, helped him a lot in getting spotted for roles.

Kevin Conroy is meaningful to me is due to as a younger kid, my parents were split and my mother worked all the time so I'd be stuck watching Batman the animated series and overtime I found Kevin's other work and grew to love his other shows and projects, he even worked in a soup kitchen right after the 9/11 attacks and cheered up patrons when one recognized his voice from the batman show as well. Showing that not even fame could corrupt his kind heart like fame has done to countless other celebrities.

I have tried my best to become a kinder and more passionate person in my life to more or less be kind of like my idol, I know I'll never be an actor ha-ha though but even then being a nicer person isn't bad either.
