I am working on my finance project and am having trouble figuring out how to calculate the WACC . From there I have to calculate the NPV and IRR. I would like to complete this in excel but am unsure of where to start. I will attach the information I have to help with this. I have attached the balance sheet that we are suppose to use to get to these numbers. Can you guide me in the right direction on how to accomplish this please.

WACC and Capital Budgeting

  • Calculate the firm's WACC (using 2018 numbers). (You will need to collect information on the long-term debt and common stock equity from the Balance Sheet. The firm has no preferred stock).
  • Use the WACC to calculate NPV and evaluate IRR for proposed capital budgeting projects. Assume the projects are mutually exclusive and the firm has the money available to fund the project.
