This may result is consumers benefiting on lower priced items; however, what they save in dollars they often loose in quality. All in all I believe we are surrounded by corporate greed. We see it in the job market, the rising costs in housing and groceries. There are select people making insane amount of money by giving back to employees and common people as little as possible. It is hard to comprehend what our economy could look like if American job opportunities were prioritized. There was a time when people could start in an entry level position, stay at a company for 20-30 years and have a good retirement. Those days are mostly gone. Wasn't the retirement age suggested to be 75 recently? Is it possible that globalization has played a role in that? Companies have long been treating employees like they are easily replaceable, did that attitude begin with globalization? Now the employee also knows the job is replaceable and behaves that way.
