I believe that companies such as Walmart and Target have expanded their online businesses to increase their bottom line. They have also added new features to help with online sales. One of my favorite features is where you can actually point your camera to a spot and you can actually see what a product looks like before you buy it. Places like Walmart have a lot of "try before you buy" features. Also, because of the pandemic, these stores had to expand their online businesses because they had help influence customers to stay home and socially distance themselves from one another. But back to the original question, yes this has increased their bottom lines because of the convenience factor of shopping while at the comfort of your own home.
How do you believe that organizations decide the data to use to show the growth or decline of their business to keep the study ethical and true?
