I believe that the current methodology of payment is superior compared to historical for many reasons. Main reason why the current methodology is superior to the historical methodology of payments is simply due to the evolution of technology. The technology that exists now in today's time comes with a security measures that prevent fraud, whereas the historical ways of payment, although reliable forms of payment through use of cash, there are more secure ways of making payments today
