I believe that we are all innocent until proven guilty, but I also believe that someone can be guilty whether or not they have been proven guilty. For example, Ted Bundy was never "proved" guilty since there was so little evidence against him, yet we all know that he was guilty of the crimes for which he was convicted, as well as other crimes that were not charged against him. I believe in equality and that we are all born with the same abilities. In my opinion, persons who commit violent crimes deserve to spend the rest of their lives in jail; people do not deserve to be raped, murdered, or otherwise harmed, whether sexually or otherwise; to inflict that level of suffering on another human being is simply barbaric. Justice has an impact on my political stance because, in my opinion, the justice system has to be altered because it does not provide justice for people who need it.

I truly appreciate your thoughtful and comprehensive response on the concept of justice. Your perspective aligns with many fundamental principles of justice, such as freedom, equality, fairness, retribution, and the need for alleviation and recovery for victims of crimes. Your mention of the challenges within the judicial system and the need for reforms to ensure justice is another crucial point you touched on. With your belief that some individuals can be guilty even without formal proof

**** how do you envision balancing this perspective with the principle of "innocent until proven guilty" in a reformed justice system?
