I can't believe we're already at the end of Week 2. I've had the opportunity to meet the project members virtually. I have to say one of the things I appreciate is the responsiveness and communication within the team. The challenge I'm facing is the amount of time we have available to execute the project. The project I was matched with was proposed by students of this class in a previous term and it is now my team's responsibility to execute the idea. The project calls for an on-campus event which is difficult as all project members are virtual.

That being said, it's pushing me to think outside the box and consider different ways to meet the goal successfully The project is also helping me to improve in areas that need some attention. I'm learning to have better time management skills and ensure I communicate effectively, which is important when working as part of a virtual team. The project is working on something I have no prior experience with which will help me to step out of my comfort zone. Overall, this project will support future goals of taking on more leadership roles and having the courage to take on new objectives.
