I chose Oprah Winfrey because she is a black woman billionaire. She is also a motivational speaker, television producer/ host, author, actress and author. She has overcome the trauma and bad experiences in her life. She was very persistent and wanted to be successful in her aspirations to become a motivational speaker, television producer/host, actress and author. She was traumatized by her life, similar to my experiences. I am pursuing her because I want to become a role model like her. I know that she lived in Baltimore, Maryland and I was located near Brown's Memorial Baptist Church next to the building where Oprah Winfrey worked there as a television producer/host for a short time and then she relocated to Chicago, Illinois.

She motivated children and donated millions to children's organizations that helped with education, clothes, and daily needs. She is an important figure to children because she promotes success. She loves seeing the children succeed. Secondly, she motivated as a television producer/host; she invited celebrities and average people to have conversations about their experiences, life, and other issues. She enjoyed learning about others, questioning, and giving advice to others to be successful in their future. Lastly, she is currently still selling books and magazines. These books and magazines can change people's lives.

Her quote, "the future of life as we know it is being determined by everything we're doing-and not doing. Now." - Oprah Winfrey is one that I agree with; that you can strive to doanything by making a choice to be successful. Her quote means to stay determined to set your goals and be passionate about your skills and that can help your success thrive. She was very determined and persistent with her career. Despite all the adversity and trauma she lived through she knew that she couldn't give up no matter what. She is continually giving back to the beautiful black community. Likewise, I am currently working at a group home, and listening with others who have experiences in their lives, including mental, emotional, and physical challenges with their lives. I am giving them positive motivation. I also know that I can do it like her, so I must keep pushing myself to be consistent.
