I chose the block that my hospital is on. Employees often walk to the restaurants for lunch. They include: a Mexican fast food place, a Thai restaurant, a shop selling potato Knishes (Jewish pastry), a Pizza shop, a Natural food store, an Italian restaurant, a Boba tea shop, a food place called Dairy Land, known for their ice cream, and a German restaurant. The healthy food outlet definition in the case study included supermarkets, natural food stores, and produce stands (Lovasi et al., 2018). With that in mind, none of these places on the block are healthy, with the exception of the natural food store. I would not recommend any policies because of the fact that almost all these restaurants have healthy food options on the menu if you make an effort to choose them. I would recommend to my coworkers that you pack their own lunch or meal prepping. I pack mine almost every day. But some people in my department buy food either in the cafeteria or at one of the restaurants for every meal. My strategy is to encourage bringing your own breakfast and lunch and avoid those places. It'll help your waistline and your wallet
