Mote: the underscore represents major tasks in the outline. 5. Save your file by selecting File, Save As. Name your project, YourlLastNameCookbook 6. Click Project Summary Task and Summary Tasks from the FORMAT tab under GANTT CHART TOOLS. Gwendolyn's Gourmet Cookbook should appear in Line 0. 7. Make all tasks Automatically scheduled tasks by clicking the Task Name column heading then the Auto Schedule button under the Task tab, Tasks group. For the third task, Print and ship, double-click the Task Name, click on the Predecessors tab, click in the Task Name column and select Generate Proofs from the Drop Down list. Click the cell under Type and select Finish-to-Start from the dropdown list. Click the cell under Lag and select 3 from the dropdown list. 12. From the View tab click on the Zoom option. Click Entire Project from the Zoom ... option. Check the Timeline box. Right-click the Summary task, Acquisition, and select Add to Timeline from the menu. Do the same for the remaining four summary tasks. Repeat this process for the four milestones. 13. Save the file. V. View Network Diagram and Critical Path 14. Click the FORMAT tab and check the Critical Tasks box in the Bar Styles group. 15. Click the VIEW tab then click the Network Diagram button under the Task Views group. The critical path should appear in red, the milestones are hexagons and the summary tasks are parallelograms. 16. View the Schedule table by clicking the GANTT CHART button under the VIEW tab. Right-click the Select All button to the left of the Task Mode column heading and select Schedule. The Early and Late Start and Finish Times as well as the Slack Times are displayed here. Right-click the Select All button and select Entry to return to the Entry table view. VI. Enter Resource Information and Cost Estimates 17. Click the VIEW tab and then click the Resource Sheet button under the Resources Views group. From the VIEW tab, select the Gantt Chart button under the Task Views group. Right-click the Select ALL button, select the Tracking option to view the Tracking table. In row 0 (Gwendolyn's Gourmet Cookbook) change the % Comp value to 100%.23. From the VIEW tab, click the Details option in the Split View group. Select the Tracking Gantt option from the dropdown list. Notice the completion data for each task. 24, From the VIEW tab, select the Gantt Chart button under the Task Views group. Right-click the Select ALL button and select the Costs option. Notice the Total Cost, Baseline Cost, and Actual Costs. 25. From the VIEW tab, select the Gantt Chart button under the Task Views group. Right-click the Select All button, select the More Tables option then double-click Earned Value. Note that the Earned Value table includes columns for each earned value acronym, such as PV, EV, AC, 5V, CV, etc. 26. Click the REPORT tab, then select the Earned Value report from the COSTS under the View Reports group. 27. From the REPORT tab select the Custom option then Cost Report then Resource Cost Overview. 28. From the REPORT tab select the Visual Reports then the Baseline Cost Report. In Excel maodify the fields that are shown in the Pivot table. For example, click the Baseline Cost and view the results in the Chart. 29. Save your file
