Its clients are mostly employees and students from the College. The union offers many types of loans to its clients such as home loans, car loans, and personal loans. The personal loan processing is as follows. When a client submits a personal loan application, a loan officer will check for the completeness of the application. If the application is missing any required documents, the client will receive a reminder to provide them and the application is marked as pending. All applications (complete or not) will be kept in a log file. Only complete application from the log will be processed further with a verification with a credit bureau to determine the client's creditworthiness. If the client doesn't have satisfactory rating from the credit bureau, a decline letter will be sent to the client and the application will be closed. Otherwise, the officer will create an offer in 2 copies: one is sent to the client and the other is kept for the record. When the client accepts and sends back the signed offer, a formal contract will be prepared in 2 copies: one for the client and the other for the record. A personal bank account will be created for the accepted client with the approved loan amount. Tasks: Develop a set of DFDs to model the Personal Loan Processing at Mammoth Credit Union.
