I feel that the Facebook's branding strategy to recruit new employees is unique. One thing that really stood out to me is the diversity that is shown within the advertisement. It included people from all different racial and ethnic backgrounds. I feel that this is important for an organization to demonstrate that they are inclusive of all people regardless of the person's sex, race, religion and other affiliations. Facebook is a global company and I feel that it is important for a global organization such as this to demonstrate its diversity. This also coincides with Facebook's core values that involves bringing people together. Another thing that I like about Facebook's branding strategy is that it seems that they allow employees to develop their talents and skills as a means of aiding the company to reach its goals and objectives. Facebook states that "we're committed to supporting the learning you need to grow". This lets the potential employees know that the organization is big on employee development. This also lets the potential applicant know that they have the opportunity to advance and grow with the company. Another interesting branding strategy that Facebook uses is that include employee personals whereas current employees explained what it is like to work at Facebook. In that Facebook's culture is big on allowing employees to be themselves. To me this means that Facebook values its employees and the ideas that the employees bring.
