I found one grand theory can he applied to practice and research in my opinion, so first I will discuss two theorists that cultivated and formulated the same theory in their own 1way. Starting with Jean Watson's grand theory of caring in 1979, Watson continued her work and 1995 she was \"refining\" her theory (Butts, 2018, p.280). Watson '5 theory is based on kindness love of self and others and that the earth evolves around the caritive factors. The caritive factors are human-altruistic value system, faith and hope, and sensit'wity to self and others. From those factors she developed 14 nursing caritas (p.282). Watson applied her theory to practice in that nursing was a transpersonal caring relationship that made successful nursing and patient outcomes
