I have a question on whether the following would be a contract, and whether or not it would then be classified a breach of contract within the facts i will list.

Assume a professor offers an introductory quiz worth 0 points.

However, the same teacher lists the following in the quiz document:

"Each student who achieves a 100% on the Syllabus Quiz by the deadline posted in Canvas will receive 10 bonus points."

The professor does not give the 10 bonus points as stated regardless of whether a 100% was scored.

So what is the end result of this in terms of a contract?
