I have an essay on the novel Eichmann in Jerusalem and I am having a difficult time formulating a thesis. The author Hannah Arendt, criticizes multiple aspects of the Eichmann case throughout the novel. Arendt agrees with the judge's verdict, and she disagrees with the prosecution's approach to the case. This caused some to wonder if it would have been better to settle matters outside of court. Arendt believes that the case benefitted a lot of people by being displayed in the courts and that this case was vital for humanity. What is the problem raised in this question?
