1. I have decided on the following option for my project choice: 

1. Option 1: Technology Impact Assessment: you can select a specific technology (e.g., social media platforms, AI, blockchain) and assess its impact on human culture, identity, and values in various contexts, such as personal life, professional life, and education. The project should also analyze how different stakeholders, including users, developers, and policymakers, influence the development and adoption of the technology.

I have chosen this option because it directly affects my life. Being a mother of 3 girls (16,21,25), I have seen 1^st hand the influence that social media platforms have played on my children’s self-esteem, behaviors and also the knowledge gained.

   1. Option 1: I plan to interview the following individuals for my primary research. Please list them along with your rationale for your choice/how you seeing this adding depth to your project. 

I will interview a 16 year old girl, 25 year old woman, 45 year old woman and 52 year old man. I plan to have each discuss what their life was like prior to social media, share what about social media intrigues them and what impacts it has had on their emotional and social skills/development. I chose to interview these people based on their age differences and economic and social statuses.
