I have not been to many zoos in my lifetime outside of field trips or when I was very little. Zoos should exist, but they must be heavily regulated and some zoos should be shut down. It is not unusual for incidents to happen at zoos, such in the video, it is mentioned that many stingrays died from low oxygen levels due to malfunctions, or how they were lost to a heating malfunction. At the same time, zoos can provide education for visitors, and keep their animals safe. Some of these animals who live in well run zoos live long lifespans. Therefore to keep the good zoos, but to weed out the bad, adding animal protection laws and extending existing ones to zoo animals would go a long way
