The Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) began an investigation in 2015 regarding a drug trafficking operation that was happening on Pittsburgh's North Side, Eastern District of Michigan and across the Caribbean Sea. Victor Burnett was intercepted over a Title III wiretap, on the day of his arrest he processed almost 1,366 grams of heroin, firearms, ammo, a money counter, various cell phones and over $20,000 in his home on September 1, 2016. Not only was he in procession of all these illegal items but it was also said in court that he was responsible for the distribution of 100 grams of heroin via the United States mail. Fortunately, agents seized the heroin before it arrived in Pennsylvania where it was to be further distributed. Victor Burnett, Jr., pleaded guilty to one count before United States District Court. He was sentenced to 12 years in a federal lockup as part of his guilty plea.
