What is left after the course is over?

The goal is to synthesize the learnings and reflect on how they may apply to your managerial decision-making problems.

You can outline some main learnings, but please do not just report what was covered session by session.

What surprised you? What you knew already? What you thought you knew?

Good practice: taking note of recaps, of interesting learnings.

Make it personal: reflect on how your personal experience relates to the points covered.

Assessment: Is the reflection critical? Does it synthesize the learning points? Does it integrate it with relevant managerial problems? Does it take context into account when interpreting the learnings?

Length: 1 2 pages. Choose quality over quantity!

Overview of your current professional role

Examples of challenging decisions you face, alongside a reflection of why and when intuition vs formal analysis could lead to higher quality decisions

Elaboration on a specific case where you could use one of the frameworks or methods that were addressed (risk analysis, decision analysis, problem framing)

A personal reflection on the opportunities, challenges and limitations of using a formal decision-making process as opposed to using intuition
