I have to download data from monthly returns on portfolio.

For Ex: SMB monthly returns:

-0.56

-0.94

-0.31

-0.54

-1.13

-1.97

-0.19

0.1

0.99

then I have to make a equity curve, or a plot showing the growth of $1 in each of the "risk factor (portfolio)" over the full sample.

How do I do that? I add 1 dollar in each and plot a graph? I didn't understand.

Thank you
