I have to find the ratio to compensation. The answer given is 1:16 and I am not sure where they got this.

I would be grateful to know the formula of what I had to do here.

I have a large chart with a bunch of other numbers that is too big to put on here.

So the formula or steps of what I am supposed to do to find the Ratio to Compensation would be very helpful thank you!

The specific question I have to answer is: What is the total cost of absenteeism to our company? What is the ratio of absentee cost to annual salaries?
