I have worked at big corporations and a small owned company out of all of the places I worked the one that stuck with me
I have worked at big corporations and a small owned company out of all of the places I worked the one that stuck with me was working for the small owned company, that only had one person that handled all the office and HR items. I worked at this company for two and a half years till needing a more budget friendly insurance company came up for my family of four at that time. What I loved about working at this company was the environment, there was never a day that I dreaded coming into work as they would always make sure we were comfortable or if we needed anything that we knew we could ask for it. I never had to deal with HR only my manager who was the go between when I asked to switch from working weekends to not or needing an advance to take care of something that came up. I believe if HR wasn't into helping maintain that type of environment we would have had a high turnover like the big corporations that I've worked at.
