(I know 6th amendment, and how all are entitled to an attorney for such cases etc.) but, what about in a negative way? i.e., maybe (financial?) costs fees or "slow down at our public defender office" since 1963 [GIDEON case]

Professor was saying (need to know) how does Gideon case from 1963, how does it impact the "lawyers of today" and 'our legal profession. I've invoked all positive i.e., right to counsel, throughout U.S.A., since Gideon, is a good thing for the American Public, yes. But, Professor (odd to me) because keep saying, but how does it affect the "lawyers" and "our legal proession?" I'm inferring it has to be financial, but not sure. I will await your answer.
