I$\text{'}$m attempting to write a simplified pseudo code$/$comments $($in python$)$ for a program to read a set of floating point numbers from a file and calculate basic statistical parameters $($mean$,$ std$.$ dev, median, max, min$).$ The format of the file is one number per line. I$\text{'}$m a beginner and stuck.
